  Franklin Daily Journal 18 Oct 2002 GREENWOOD Burton W. Dayment Burton W. Dayment, 80, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002, at St. Francis Hospital & Health Centers in Beech Grove. He was a resident of Greenwood. He was born May 2, 1922, in Chicago. His parents were Burton and Anna (Fidelke) Dayment. He married Jean (Holmstrom) Dayment on Jan. 22, 1949, in Chicago. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Richard Dayment of Greenwood; a daughter, Connie Gross of New Canaan; a brother, Clifford C. Dayment of Des Plains, Ill.; and six grandchildren. He was employed by Cushing & Co. as an executive vice president of sales for 25 years. He was a member of Jefferson Park Lutheran Church and was a Mason. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, State Road 135 Chapel. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 9135 N. Meridian St., Suite B-4, Indianapolis, IN 46209-7109.
