- Kenneth M. Douglass, 84, of Camano Island, WA, died April 10, 2007. He was born to Fred and Jeanette (Johnson) Douglass December 24, 1922, in Stanwood, WA.
Ken graduated from Stanwood High School and attended Pacific Lutheran University. Kenneth and Clara Nelson were married August 5, 1954, in Coeur D Alene, Idaho. He spent 22 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a Major. He was an active member of the Camano Lutheran Church and Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Stanwood, WA. Ken was a member of the American Legion Post # 92 in Stanwood.
He leaves his wife of 53 years, Clara; one son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Tami Douglass, of Camano Island, WA; stepson and daughter-in-law, Robert D. and Anita Seagle, of Ford, WA; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Margie Douglass, of Auburn, WA; two grandchildren, Ashley and Kayla Douglass, of Camano, Island; Nephews, Mark, David, and Peter Douglass, Bill and wife Ginny and Johnny Cooper; numerous extended family.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Jeanette Douglass; sister, Dorothy Cooper; and stepson, Jim Seagle.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Stanwood, WA. Visitation will be at Gilbertson Funeral Home, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. A Fellowship will be held at the American Legion following the Internment service at Our Saviour's Lutheran Cemetery.
